Can Median replace Confidence Interval for Mean?
Since Mean can be affected by outliers, would using a Median point estimate be a better choice than using a Mean confidence interval?

Hi Minoy,
Some people do in fact prefer to use the Median as a more representative measure.
In my opinion, it is best to calculate both and have a clear idea of how the distribution looks like.
