CondaSSLError: OpenSSL appears to be unavailable on this machine.

When install openCV I got this problem, how to fix it?


Collecting package metadata (current_repodata.json): failed

CondaSSLError: OpenSSL appears to be unavailable on this machine. OpenSSL is required to
download and install packages.


Exception: HTTPSConnectionPool(host='conda.anaconda.org', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /conda-forge/win-64/current_repodata.json (Caused by SSLError("Can't connect to HTTPS URL because the SSL module is not available."))

Thank you for reaching out!


Unfortunately, I haven't encountered this issue before. It seems like the following solution on stackoverflow worked for a lot of people. Try adding these three path variables and let me know if it solved the problem.
