Resolved: Doubt about Minimun Detectable Error

Hello,

In minute 0:15 of this lecture, Anastasia talks about "Minimum Detectable Error." Is this a confusion? Does she mean "Minimum Detectable Effect"?

If it's not the case, could you explain what Minimum Detectable Error is?

Best regards, and thanks in advance!

Hi Enrique!
Thanks for reaching out!
What's meant here is indeed the term Minimum Detectable Effect, which refers to the smallest effect size that an experiment is designed to detect with a specific level of statistical power. Thank you for pointing it out!
Best,
Ivan
