How do I fix the root connection issue

in SQL / Setting up a connection

I am trying to connect to the server however an error message keeps coming up. Please see the screenshot attached.

Hi Xannique!
Thanks for reaching out.

You have to start the server again. You can do that from the Windows services where you will find the MySQL entry (MySQL80). You need to start the service and try connecting to it again in the Workbench.
