Resolved: Import Range function in Excel?
In Google Sheet I'm able to import external data with "importrange" function, which very useful for relational database and I use it in almost all of my spreadsheet in Google, how do I do this in Excel? This advanced course should have cover this.
Hi Nunno,
Take a look at the Data \ Get Data options available within Excel. Unsure if the 'importrange' of Google is the same as Excel 'From Table/Range' but as you can see there are many alternatives..... Hope this helps.

Hi Kev T.!
Thanks for reaching out.
How is your external data organized? What is the relevant file extension, please? Are you referring to an *.sql type of file?
Looking forward to your answer.
Kind regards,
Martin
Hi Kev T.
Thanks for the help. However, I think formula based solution to get a table from external source is more practical and elegant because we can do combo with other functions.
