Resolved: Linear Regression Practicle Example Part4
Hello Team,
here as part of the video we were asked how can we actually make the model better by improving beyond 75% R^2.
Could you please explain from the current lectures we went through how can we improve.
This help is highly appreciated
Hey Praneeth,
Thank you for reaching out!
The exercise the lecturer is referring to in the lesson can be found in the Recourses folder of the final lecture called Linear Regression Practical Example (Part 5).
There, the instructor gives some suggestions to improve the model, namely
1. Perform feature selection
2. Create a regression where 'Price' is not transformed
3. Use a different approach when dealing with outliers and NULL values
Try out different techniques and study which ones maximize the R-squared value.
Hope this helps!
Kind regards,
