[solved]Regarding > operator Output in Video

in SQL / Other Comparison Operators

code was in video
WHERE hire_date > '2000-01-01';
Why > operator retrieve date only from one month Jan why not another month and year because they are greater than 2000?

explaination-
i think i got the answer the reason due to hire_date limited to first month of 2000
