Regarding sql subqueries

in SQL / SQL Subqueries nested in SELECT and FROM

i can't understand how the subquery result is filled in all the rows of the table
please help

Hi JEE
yes there is one manager (emp_no 110022) for 20 employees, and one more manager with emp_no (110039) for  20 employees more..
