what benefit do we gain from doing all this work to create the Date Range, even thought we could apply a range filter on the Date Field ?

Hi Alaa,
you're right that the Date Range was a bit more involved and in our case we could have simpy applied a range filter. However, the date range parameter can be used for example if we have data coming from multiple sheets and data sources and wish to filter them all in a dashboard or a story. In that scenario we'd need a date range parameter to work on all visualizations. For the purposes of this dashboard, you can opt for a range filter instead.
