What you observe is normal. The adjusted closing price is being changed (i.e. adjusted) over time for stock splits and dividend payments. Therefore, if we retrieve the adjusted closing price today or a year from now, we expect to always observe a difference in the value.

In the course lectures, you encounter the values we've retrieved while recording the videos. The values that are relevant to today are the ones you obtain at your end. Therefore, what matters is use the correct code to obtain the desired data, as well as be aware of why adjusted closing prices change over time.
