why when calling a column in functions we use double brackets " like what you did in melt and select functions", but in ggplot aes we don't use those brackets.

Hi Doaa,
thanks for reaching out! In most programming languages both types of brackets are syntacticly equivalent, that is when the code is compiled it doesn't matter which one you use. So, feel free to opt for whichever ones you prefer when coding.
