Resolved: Change the sound of the voices - help!
So I've just started with 365 data science and it looks ok, but I really hate the voices they have used.
They sound like the same voices that are used on really bad advertisements trying to sell you something, "just buy this and your life will improve, impress your friends ra ra ra..." and its pretty off-putting. Would have been better if they'd just recorded their real voices.
Anyone know of some software that can alter the sound of the voice I hear through my headphones on windows?
I've found voice-altering programs but they require you to import the video - just need something that will alter the sound I can hear through my headphones when the recording is playing on the 365 site.
Cheers!
1. There are subtitles/captions provided to every video which I find is unique for their courses. Maybe you can read them with a lower sound volume.
2. Every tutor has a different voice, so i do not think it will be an issue for you with all the courses.
3. There are voice changing and modulating software available (like VoiceMod which is used in gaming) but I believe it can be used in real-time for personal voices only. Maybe you can try that.
Hi, thanks for the reply, I did try VoiceMod, and unfortunately, yes - it seems to only be for real-time voice.
Had a try with some of the other courses and they're all the awful voices people use in annoying advertisements, different but still terrible. Like the voices used on annoying adds you have to wait to skip on youtube.
Might just have to get used to it or go with the captions.
