For those who struggle with the installation on Mac OS not the latest version

Dear fellow students,

If you're having hard time installing MySQL on Mac, especially when your Mac OS is not the latest version, please refer to some other sources such as Youtube. There are multiple sources which guide you step by step showing the installation process on screen. In my case, My Mac OS is 12 Monterey, so I searched 'how to install MySQL on Mac OS 12', and then found a bunch of useful guides. Do the same for Workbench.

If you are not sure which OS version your Mac is, just check the Apple mark on the left-up side of your Mac, and click the 'About this Mac'. There you can find the OS version. Also, If your processor is Intel, then choose 'x86' (otherwise choose 'ARM') when downloading the MySQL file.

Hope this is helpful!
