IFNULL & COALESCE FUNCTIONS NOT IN MY WORKBENCH
Tried applying the functions IFNULL & COALESCE, but it appears they aren't in my workbench. As such, I couldn't practice with the functions.
Is there a work around?

what i meant was that, the reserved(keywords) IFNULL and COALESCE are not listed among the reserved words in my SQL Editor of my WORKBENCH. I tried on several occassion to use them for my practice session, but they appear not to be active (appearing grey instead of blue) when applied.
going further to examine the list of reserved words in my SQL Editor, i discovered IFNULL and COALESCE were not among the reserved words listed.
what then could be the cause? and how can i remedy the problem?

Fellow student here. When I use those reserved words, they also appear gray, but they do work. Could you please show how your query and its result looks like?
