Resolved: Pro Tip: Get a statistics textbook if you really want to learn

The title. Literally, the title. Learning doesn't come from one source. So many comments on Aristotle vs Benjamain Franklin... And here I thought we were more concerned with the learning of statistics.

May I recommend "Mathematical Statistics with Applications", 7th Edition, by Dennis Wackerly? There's so many resources online that can teach you information that can better clarify your questions rather than asking it on here.

Hi Avery,

Learning from multiple sources is highly recommended.

The quotes we've included in the course aim to make it more interesting and engaging. It is very much understandable that certain students would like to learn in a different way.

Happy to help if you need any assistance from our team.

Best,

Ned

Hi Ned,

I'm sorry if my comment came across as terse. It wasn't addressed at you, it was addressed at the students that were more busy debating the accuracy of your quote source as opposed to actually learing. I actually appreciate the content and the work that's been done on the site.

Once, again, I'm sorry that the comment was terse. Again, it wasn't addressed at you, it was addressed at the other students in the forum.

Best,

Avery
