Question no 2 - First blocker
Please, remember the “sales” database could be organized in both ways.
What are the both ways?
And it is true – the “items” table could be split into two parts – “items” and “companies.”
What is true? Two parts or two tables?
Not able to understand the question properly
Hi Dhanush!
Thanks for reaching out.
Indeed, we mean that the given table can be split into two parts/tables. I.e. in that case, one of the new tables will correspond to the "items" part, while the other table - to the "companies" part.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards,
Martin
probably not clear to me question no 2
Hi teklite!
Thanks for reaching out.
If you mean "two parts" or "two tables", then - there are no "parts", we mean two "tables". But, in the stage of database design (i.e. while creating the schema itself, i.e. during the stage of thinking of how to organize the tables and the columns they will contain), we can think of the idea to split a table into two parts, because it may be more efficient to contain the given information (items and companies) in two separate pieces.
Hope this helps but please feel free to get back to us should you need further assistance. Thank you.
Best,
Martin
