Hey Mohamed,

Thank you for reaching out!

Let's give the following events compact notations:
Mohamed Salah's team will win -> event A
Mohamed Salah will score -> event B

In the task, we are given that:
P(A | B) = 80% = 0.80
P(B) = 70% = 0.70

The quantity we want to calculate is:
P(A ∩ B)

Using the multiplication rule discussed in the lecture, we obtain:
P(A ∩ B) = P(A | B) * P(B) = 0.80 * 0.70 = 0.56

Hope this helps!

Kind regards,
