Solution MacOS Error Code 1175
For anyone using MacOS facing the Error Code 1175. We just have to uncheck the SAFE mode mentioned in previous lessons. However, you may have realized that the option 'Preferences' does not appear on the 'Edit' tab.
Instead of Edit, in the tab area go to MySQLWorkbench -> Settings -> SQL Editor -> Scroll down and uncheck the Safe Updates option -> Restart the program.
That should resolve the issue

Thanks for sharing this piece of information with the Community! In MacOS it is slightly different and instead of Edit, in the tab area we have to go to MySQLWorkbench -> Settings -> SQL Editor -> Scroll down and uncheck the Safe Updates option. Then we should restart the program in order to save the new settings.
