Resolved: The base url for the exchange rate is not working?

Hi,
I tried following the instruction in the video but on the website mentioned, it says that for me to carry out this HTTP request I need to buy the subscription for the API. May I know is there another way around this ?

From the website, I suppose we can use a free plan for the API key. But, I'm not sure how do we add the API key into our codes

It works. I just tried it out myself. You just sign up for an account to get the API key. Then you replace the URL with the given URL on the quickstart page for the website.
Here's the further documentation

Thanks, I used the free plan to get the base URL. But I think the rest of the question requires me to upgrade the plan so that I can use the other HTTP requests.

Hi,

Yes, unfortunately the Exchange Rates API was updated and changed its format. For the moment, you can sigh up for the free version and use that. However, it does not support the 'base' parameter.
Unfortunately, right now we don't have the time to update the course as we are working on new exciting features.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Best,
