Workbench has encountered a problem

Sometimes, the bugs that we encounter in MySQL Workbench regard a temporary inconsistency in the software, so restarting it/reconnecting to the database might solve them. If this doesn't help, please try connecting as another user or an admin.

Hi Yohana,

You can try these steps in order to solve your issue:

1- Try to change the installation path.

2- If doesn't work with you, try to open the installer file as an administrator, it may solve your issue.

3- Finally, change the user that you're using, especially if you're installing MySQL on a machine at your workplace. Because there is a policy and specific permissions for the employees' accounts at workplace machines.
