Thanks for reaching out.
To obtain a course certificate, one needs to have completed all its lectures and quiz questions, as well as passed the relevant course exam.
Free users cannot obtain course certificates because some of the lectures and quiz questions are not unlocked. These lectures and quiz questions are unlocked (i.e. accessible) for paid users. Also, paid users are required to pass the relevant course exam with a mark of at least 60%.
