thanks for reaching out! You're right that Tableau is more interactive and definetely the preferred choice for making interactive visualizations. The reason we also show Excel is that it is one of the most widely used software across the globe, therefore, some people will be more accustomed to using Excel and not Tableau. If you're adept at using different visualization software, then Tableau is the better choice.
