Resolved: How to become business intelligence analyst or data engineer?
I like these two areas and I am looking to be a programming and business data analyst.
I have taken a data warehouse course in college. so where to go from here? I feel kind of confused.
Hi Awab!
Great to have you in the course and thanks for reaching out!
The data warehouse course is certainly a useful experience you've gained. It certainly contributes to your understanding of how to deal with and organise data.
Nevertheless, when it comes to programming and doing data analysis, the fundamentals are quite different. Programming is the skill to set tasks to the computer by using programming languages, while data analytics is more inclined towards the business aspect of a company's data, rather than about how to organise large datasets.
That's why I'd suggest to follow our Program and its guidance and I am sure that the more you progress, the clearer idea you will have about how to dive deep into the two fields that are of your interest.
Hope this helps.
Best,
Martin
