Resolved: Data Science Job Positions

Not really a question but just an observation in my country: the lines between roles are getting more blurred because no company hires 9 individuals to do a specific task respectively.

Nowadays, anyone who majored in any discipline related to CS is automatically assumed to know how to do everything from A - Z.

Hi Rong!

Thanks for reaching out.

Thank you for sharing this observation! Unfortunately, such a phenomenon is being relevant for more and more regions and companies. Namely because we'd like you to know essentially what actions are meant behind each discipline, we created and discussed the data science diagram and infographic.

Hope this helps.
Best,
Martin

This gives me a thorough explanation of the differences in job roles, discipline, methods, and programming language to software. I attained a degree in MIS back in 2006 and data management was not as big as other computer science jobs. In connection to Rong's point, it gave me a little hope of landing a job in MIS because corporations across my location prefer graduates in computer science (programmers). To be honest it made me feel less relevant and went full-time on the business side since it's hybrid. But with the evolution of data science and how advanced the learning platforms at present. It gives me hope and somehow at this point, everything makes sense. I will not waste any opportunity. My goal is to be a data scientist. Thank you!
