I didn't quite understand the nuance from 3:48 till the end

I understand your confusion. The instructor means that when working with larger queries and stored procedures, if you do not mention the correct column, an error can occur or wrong result set. So, the good practice is to use the correct alias for the used table and the column name of the table.
