i don't understand the logic of this lesson
It'd be great if better and different real world examples were used, which would properly define the use of variables.

He is just showing what is happening behind the scene .whene u enter the number is the window that popped up is the last course.

Indeed, what we show is just an example of how variables work. However, we do take your feedback into consideration Tanmay and will consider updating the course with relevant material in the future.
For the moment, there are different SQL topics that we are working on. Hopefully, you will see them added to the course syllabus in just a few months.
