How is data science a subset of data analytics and what is the difference between both of these terms?

Since, Data Science focuses on getting information from data, it becomes a subset of data analytics. A lot of the processes in Data Analytics/Analysis do not require extracting information like pre-processing.

However, these terms are rather open to interpretation. I am not sure, though.

Nevertheless, we've done our best to provide the definitions that tend to be valid across multiple networks and that combined are supposed to provide a solid and complete general picture of the data science world's terms and buzzwords of today.
