I am wondering why we put qualitative analytics in the business sphere instead of the data sphere, while qualitative analytics involves intuition + analysis ( based on data )?

Thanks for reaching out.
In our lectures, by "data" we mainly mean "quantitative data". So, we'd rather categorize such type of analysis as "quantitative analytics", and "leave" the "qualitative analytics" discipline deal with business issues rather than quantitative data issues.
