Resolved: Analytics Vs Analysis
Usually as a data scientist we use the past data to predict the future results , so then what it would be called? Analysis or Analytics?

So long as we are making predictions, we are technically into the sphere of doing analytics. When we do analysis, we are exploring events that have already occurred in the past (to obtain intuition, study patterns etc. but without necessarily having the notion of predicting).
